1. Program Description

HSAC, LLC ("HSAC," "we," "us") operates the HotSauce restaurant platform. When you opt in, we send text messages on behalf of the participating restaurants you choose to hear from, including promotional offers, discounts, loyalty and rewards updates, and related notifications. We also send transactional messages such as account verification codes, which are governed separately from marketing messages.

2. Opting In

You opt in to marketing text messages in one of two ways: by providing your phone number and opting in on a printed receipt form at a participating restaurant, or by checking the marketing opt-in box during online checkout, account signup, or in your account profile on a participating restaurant's ordering site or app. Consent to receive marketing text messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services. By opting in, you confirm you are the subscriber or customary user of the phone number provided.

Message frequency varies based on your activity and the offers available from the restaurants you have opted in to hear from.

4. Fees

Message and data rates may apply. Standard messaging charges from your mobile carrier apply to messages you receive from us and messages you send to us. Contact your carrier for details about your plan.

5. Opting Out

You can cancel at any time by texting STOP in reply to any message. After you send STOP, we will send a final message confirming you have been unsubscribed, and you will receive no further marketing messages. To rejoin, opt in again through a participating restaurant or reply START.

7. Privacy

Your information is handled as described in our Privacy Policy. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

8. General

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Messages are available on major U.S. carriers; capability depends on your device and carrier. We may suspend or terminate the program, or update these terms, at any time; material changes will be posted on this page. These terms apply to the SMS program only and supplement any other agreements you have with HSAC or a participating restaurant.
